Imagine a place where every injured or sick homeless animal finds hope and healing, a place where animals receive love and care for the first time in their lives.

Hope For Paws and the medical team at CARES teamed up to build this place. The first hospital was just 1,000 square feet, and we have outgrown it very fast (but it carried us through COVID-19). Eventually, we ran out of the lease, the hospital was sold to a new owner, and he had to move out. The second hospital was 2,500 square feet, and we have outgrown it, too, as the demand for our help kept increasing. 

The new hospital (I call it CARES 3.0) should do the work for many years to come. It is a 7,000-square-foot surgical hospital (which makes it one of the largest in Los Angeles); it has multiple surgical suites and a fantastic medical team!

You are the lifeline for these voiceless creatures, and with your help, we can provide critical medical care, surgeries, vaccinations, and rehabilitation for animals who have nowhere else to turn. As I was filming this video, it occurred to me that our current supporters can help us save twice as many animals at zero cost! All you have to do is convince just one family member or a friend to join you in supporting a mission you love.

Imagine if 10,000 donors became 20,000 donors! As far as the space to do double the work - we can easily do that, but this will require another vet, more technicians, more X-rays, more blood tests, more medical supplies, more food, etc.
